Yellow Cat Publishing was founded in 1997, in Western
Colorado. The company is headquartered in the lonely
but beautiful country near Arches, Canyonlands, and
Capitol Reef National Parks, as well as the San Rafael
Swell and high mountains of Colorado. We publish
titles about Colorado, Utah, and the American southwest.

Our R&D Team Leader:
Archy the preppy puppy — Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd
extraordinaire, rescued as a pup from a grocery-store
box by students at Colorado Rocky Mountain School,
a prep school in Carbondale, Colorado.
Archy lived in
hiding in the dorms for the first several months of
his life, passed from room to room, eating an
assortment of stolen food from the Bar Fork Cafeteria
(to this day he carefully examines his food before
eating it). When finally discovered by the PTB (Powers
That Be), he was adopted by the R&D Team at Yellow
Cat.
He has the rare distinction of having a natural arch — Archy's Arch — in Capitol Reef National Park named
after him!
